Ok so I said I was changing things up and switching focus. Here it is. Sticking to the league I make the most money in. I will also start an EPL and Bundesliga thread, but Serie A remains my most profitable league.

Serie A record to date: 2-0 (+2.00)

Adding Tuesday:
Juventus -0.5 EVEN

Adding Wednesday:
Atalanta/Catania under 2.5 -130
Parma/Genoa over 2.5 -115

GL in midweek action, let's keep the winning alive!

RR11 it's a good luck saying similar to ‘Break a Leg” in theatre. LOL

For the record, Juve have been my team since I was a teen and everyone in my family and extended family (approx. 150 people) are Juve supporters and they bring up their children in that environment. But I cannot wager in the Italian League. I know too much to allow that to happen. Some of Juve’s trophies are tarnished but that’s Italian Football.

I will be watching the match, cheering for Juve even though I am wagering in Germany.

I am happy that Juventus have restored their starting 11 to full-strength. Quagliarella is a MONSTER up front. Possession will be in favor of Juve for sure even though I expect Fiorentina to play above themselves and do their best to win and revenge the 0-5 loss they took at home to Juve last season.

I have read some Italian papers on line and they expect the bad blood to be spilled in this match and it has been escalated further this year after Juventus spoiled the transfer of Dimitar Berbatov to Fiorentina, whom they eventually lost to Fulham.

There should be tense moments on the pitch and what should be a very rough match with plenty of cards. In fact I expect a RED to be issued and it will likely be to Juventus. The winner in my eyes is very much unknown but I hope it will be the The Old Lady! :)

I agree with you. Should be plenty of bad blood... I liked the fact that Juve rested a few key players on Saturday in preparation for today's match. They should field a strong starting XI that will be enough to pick up a 2-1 win. Quagliarella is a streaky scorer and right now he is in one of his infamous hot streaks. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see him score today.

I am a Milan supporter, as is the rest of my family. Trying times ahead for us this season. Top 3 finish looks improbable at this point.

Juventus -0.5 EVEN loss
Atalanta/Catania under 2.5 -130 loss (0-0 at half, three goals in 15 minutes kills the under)
Parma/Genoa over 2.5 -115 loss (another missed penalty results in an o/u loss)
Serie A record to date: 2-3 (-1.45)

sorry for the late reply, just saw this... Chievo is a team I refuse to bet against (under most circumstances). They are very dangerous and can beat anyone on any given day. They also tend to lose games they should win. I get a better feel for them in the second half of the season. As for now, there's always value in playing them at + money

Roma blows a 2-0 lead and Lazio picks up two red cards. Can't believe this shit right now. My worst season ever in Serie A. My worst losing streak in serie A. Horrible.

I apologize to everyone who may have tailed my picks the last couple of weeks. I'm sorry and I promise I will be switching my focus and turning this around starting Tuesday. Limiting my scope and playing fewer games until this turns around. Top plays only.

Midweek games in Serie A are usually full of surprises. We should be in for some upsets today. Here's my play for today:

Bologna +1.5 EV (Juventus looking ahead to game vs. Internazionale on Saturday, then Champions League game on Tuesday. Plus Bologna historically play them tight. Looking at a 1-0, 1-1 scoreline here)

+121 on my book now. Line keeps climbing!
